Summary
A rectilinear ditched enclosure is visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the north of High Lea Diary, Hinton Parva. It is 73m across and truncated on its eastern edge by (or abuts) an extant field boundary marked on the OS 1st edition map. The enclosure is of uncertain date, it may be post medieval, medieval or earlier; it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
A rectilinear ditched enclosure is visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1995 (1-2) to the north of High Lea Diary, Hinton Parva. It is 73m across and truncated on its eastern edge by (or abuts) an extant field boundary marked on the OS 1st edition map. The enclosure is of uncertain date, it may be post medieval, medieval or earlier. It is visible as a partial earthwork on lidar imagery (3) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
