Summary
Bronze Age bowl barrow surviving as a low earthwork. In 1972 this monument was recorded as approximately 70 feet in diameter with a mound 1 foot high.
The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description
Four ditchless bowl barrows. That to the west (RCHM No 17) is sited at ST 88901489. <2>
The Iwerne Hill Group comprises four barrows on the crest of the escarpment. All have been reduced by ploughing; (17) is in arable land, the others are under grass. (17) Bowl (ST 88941490), diam 70 ft, ht 1ft. <4>
All four barrows are now in arable land, and severely plough-reduced. ST 88871489 (RCHM No 17) A bowl barrow, circa 20.0m diameter and 0.3m high; not differentiated by soil marks. No trace of a ditch. Surveyed at 1:2500 on AM. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on AM. The barrows are not visible on OS air photographs (a). Resurveyed at 1:2500 on AM.
