Monument record MDO40731 - Bronze Age round barrow or enclosure, High Lea Dairy, Hinton Parva
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A section of curved ditch, 50m long, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south east of High Lea Dairy, Hinton Parva. It probably forms the western side of a large ring ditch over 55m across. It lies just to the east of a linear grouping of barrows which form an extension of the High Lea Farm Group . The enclosure is on the large side for it being a barrow but this cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
