Summary

A section of curved ditch, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south east of High Lea Dairy, Hinton. It probably forms the northern side of large irregular enalosure at least 36m across. It lies just to the west of the southern end of a linear grouping of barrows which form an extension of the High Lea Farm Group . The enclosure is likely to be of perhistoric origin and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A section of curved ditch, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south east of High Lea Dairy, Hinton (1). It probably forms the northern side of large irregular enclosure at least 36m across. It lies just to the west of the southern end of a linear grouping of barrows which form an extension of the High Lea Farm Group . The enclosure is likely to be of perhistoric origin and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
