Summary

A series of parallel ditched linear features in a field at Hayes, Colehill, are visible on 1950s aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be post medieval drainage ditches although they may alternatively be cultivation marks of post medieval or early 20th century date. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A series of parallel ditched linear features in a field at Hayes, Colehill, are visible on 1950s aerial photographs (1). The features are presumed to be post medieval drainage ditches but may alternatively be cultivation marks of post medieval or early 20th century date. The site is under housing to the east of Hayes Lane on current Google Earth imagery. The features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
