Full Description

A small sub-oval extractive pit 10m long by 6m wide on Cannon Hill, Colehill, is visible on 1940s and 1950s aerial photographs (1 and 2). The extractive pit is probably post medieval in origin. The feature is under trees on current Google Earth imagery and not visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
