Summary
A ditched linear feature on the west side of Greenhill Road, Colehill, is visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature is presumed to be a field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A ditched linear feature on the west side of Greenhill Road, Colehill, is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is narrow and rectilinear in form and sub-divides a historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map and whose boundaries are probably medieval in origin (2). It is presumed to be a field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.
The feature is still visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
