Summary
Banked curvilinear features to the southeast of Bothenwood are visible on aerial photographs. The features are considered to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval date, perhaps those of relict medieval strip field. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
Banked curvilinear features to the southeast of Bothenwood are visible on aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-3).
The features are narrow and curvilinear in form. They are situated within a large irregular enclosures recorded on the OS 1st Edition map, whose curvilinear boundaries are likely to be predominantly medieval in origin (4). The features are set broadly parallel to each other at around 42m apart and they align with the eastern boundary of the enclosure, which shares the same shape and form (1-4).
The features are considered to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval date, perhaps those of relict medieval strip field.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
