Summary
A line of anti tank cubes on the north side of Leigh Road, Wimborne Minster, is visible on 1940's aerial photographs. The features comprise three rows of anti tank cubes positioned between the house lines to form a defensive line across an area of open ground on the north side of Leigh Road, with the former railway and a gasworks to the east and northeast. The features may have formed part of a wartime defence line; additional rows of anti tank cubes are visible to the west, southwest and northwest. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A line of anti tank cubes on the north side of Leigh Road, Wimborne Minster, is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise three rows (from east; 15m, 48m and 22m long) of anti tank cubes positioned between the house lines to form a defensive line across an area of open ground on the north side of Leigh Road, with the former railway and a gasworks to the east and northeast. The features may have formed part of a wartime defence line; additional rows of anti tank cubes are visible to the west, southwest and northwest (see MDOs 41027-41031 and 41033)
The site is infilled as housing on current Google Earth imagery and the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
