Summary

Ditched linear features in a field to the south and southeast of Park Farm are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered likely to be historic trackways of probable post medieval origin, although some may alternatively be post medieval drainage ditches. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Ditched linear features in a field to the south and southeast of Park Farm are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1). The features comprise a series of linear and curvilinear interlinking ditches that are consiudered likely to be historic trackways of probable post medieval origin, although some may alternatively be post medieval drainage ditches. The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery but the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
