Summary
A ring ditch to the southwest of Knighton Farm is very faintly visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature may be a possible Bronze Age barrow, although it is also possible the feature is of modern agricultural origin. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A possible ring ditch to the southwest of Knighton Farm is very faintly visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature measures around 26.5m in diameter and has a 1.5m wide external ditch. It is situated towards the southeast edge of a field on the west side of Knighton Lane. Another possible ring ditch of similar shape and size is situated 20m to the southeast (MDO41136).
The feature may be a possible Bronze Age barrow, although it is also possible the feature is of modern agricultural origin.
The site is s till fields on current Google Earth imagery but with much modern boundary change and under cultivation. The feature is no longer visible . It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
