Full Description

Ditched linear features on Canford Heath are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1 and 2). The features are presumed to be historic trackways, probably of post medieval to early modern date; some features clearly cut probable field boundary banks of possible post medieval origin (MDO41166). The site is still open heath on current Google Earth imagery and the features are still faintly visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
