Full Description
A cluster of small sub-circular pits on Dunyeat's Hill are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise a closely grouped cluster of around ten to twenty small pits between 2m and 4m in diameter, which are considered likely to be small post medieval extractive pits.
The site is under housing on current Google Earth imagery. The features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
