Full Description

Ditched curvilinear features on the north side of Coneygar Lane are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1). The features are narrow and curvilinear in form and they appear to cross and cut further banked and ditched linear features assumed to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval and post medieval origin (MDOs 41312 and MDO41313).They are considered likely to be sections of a historic trackway of probable post medieval date. The site is still fields to the northeast of Coneygar Farm on current Google Earth imagery and the features are still visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
