Summary
A ditched curvilinear feature to the southwest of Dudsbury is visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature is presumed to be a historic trackway, probably of post medieval origin. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A ditched curvilinear feature to the southwest of Dudsbury is visible on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1).
The feature comprises a narrow curvilinear ditch that runs for approximately 120m from close to the southwest corner of Dudsbury hillfort, east to west along the north bank of the River Stour. It is presumed to be a historic trackway of probable post medieval origin.
The feature was digitally plotted from 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
