In Bartlett's Coppice, east of Moigne Court, are three roughly parallel east-west banks, preserved throughout nearly the whole length of the southern arm of the wood, from SY 77308568 to SY 77598568.
Each bank is on average 5.0m wide and 0.6m high, and the three banks measure 29.0m at their maximum overall north-south width.
The southern most bank continues for another 90.0m in a south-easterly direction as a 5.0m wide hedgebank. Continuation in a westerly direction to SY 77198565 is suggested by a 60.0m length of well preserved bank, which is at present considered to be part of the enclosure bank surrounding most of the earthworks associated with the moated manor site of Moigne Court.
The date and origin of the work is obscure. Discovered during field investigation and surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <1>
