Summary
Banked linear features to the southwest of Parley Court Farm, Hurn, are visible on aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
Ditched linear features to the southwest of Parley Court Farm, Hurn, are visible on aerial photographs (1-2).
The features are narrow and rectilinear in form. They sub-divide a long narrow irregular historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map whose character suggests a probable medieval origin (3). The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is also possible.
The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery but the features are under tree cover and no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
