Summary
A ring ditch to the southwest of Parley Court Farm,West Parley, is visible as a cropmark on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature may be late prehistoric in origin, possibly a Bronze Age barrow. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A possible ring ditch to the southwest of Parley Court Farm,West Parley, is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is visible as a sub-circular ring-ditch, 21-23m across and incorporating a 1.5m wide outer ditch. The feature may be late prehistoric in origin, possibly a Bronze Age barrow. There may be a second similar feature (MDO41409) situated 9m to the northeast, although this is less certain.
The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery but the feature is not visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
