Summary

A perpendicular linear ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs running roughly North-South/NE-SW to the west of High Lea Farm. It appears to cut through or be cut by the enclosure described in MDO40729. The feature is of uncertain date, possibly a later prehistoric or Roman ditch or a much later trackway. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A perpendicular linear ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs running roughly North-South/NE-SW to the west of High Lea Farm (1-2). It appears to cut through or be cut by the enclosure described in MDO40729. The feature is of uncertain date, possibly a later prehistoric or Roman ditch or a much later trackway. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
