Ditched linear features to the northeast of Lower Barford are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1-2).
The features are presumed to be a post medieval drainage system.
The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery; the features are faintly visible in 2002 (2). They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
