Summary
A low sub-circular mound in a field to the southwest of Cowgrove Farm is faintly visible on current Lidar imagery. The feature may be a Bronze Age barrow and if so, would be the middle one of a row of three barrows at this location (see also MDO41454 and 32416). It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A low sub-circular mound in a field to the southwest of Cowgrove Farm is faintly visible on current Lidar imagery (1).
The feature is faint and indistinct but appears to comprises a low sub-circular mound approximately 30m in diameter. A possible partial outer ditch approximately 1.6m wide is visible on its south side.
The feature may be a Bronze Age barrow and if so, would be the middle one of a row of three barrows at this location (see also MDO41454 and 32416).
The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery. The feature is possibly visible as a parchmark in year 2005 and a faint cropmark in year 2009 (2 and 3).
It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
