Ditched linear features to the northeast of Corfe Mullen are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be historic trackways of possible post medieval origin. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Ditched linear features to the northeast of Corfe Mullen are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-2). The features are presumed to be historic trackways of possible post medieval origin. In places they respect banked linear features thought to be historic field boundaries associated with a field system of possible medieval origin (MDO41490). The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery. The features are visible in places. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
