Summary
A low sub-circular mound in a field to the northeast of Corfe Mullen is visible on current Lidar imagery. The feature is indistinct but may be archaeological in origin, possibly a Bronze Age barrow, although it may alternatively be a natural feature. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A low sub-circular mound in a field to the northeast of Corfe Mullen is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).
The feature comprises a low mound approximately 16m in diameter. It is located in the northeast corner of a field on the south bank of the River Stour. It is possible the feature is archaeological in origin, potentially a Bronze Age barrow, although it may alternatively be a natural feature. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
