Summary

A large area of small-scale shallow extractive pits is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945. The site is now under trees and scrub but some are still visible as extant earthworks on lidar imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A large area of small-scale shallow extractive pits is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 (1). The site is now under trees and scrub but some are still visible as extant earthworks on lidar imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
