Summary

The site of a large 20th century quarry is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on heathland under what is now White Road. The quarry is 170m across and was levelled in the 1960's by the development of an industrial estate. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

The quarry is 170m across and was levelled in the 1960's by the development of an industrial estate (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
