A banked linear feature at Lambs' Green, Corfe Mullen, is visible on aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery. The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of potentially post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A banked linear feature at Lambs' Green, Corfe Mullen, is visible on aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-2).
The feature is rectilinear in form and it sub-divides an irregular historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map, whose sinuous boundaries are likely to be medieval in origin (3). The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of potentially post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.
The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery and the feature is still visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
