Summary
A banked field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the southern edge of Holt Heath and within White Sheet Plantation. The individual fields are elongated and may be enclosed strip fields, they appear to be cut by the boundary bank and field system described in MDO41580 and MDO41584. The site is considered to be of medieval or later date and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
A banked field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the southern edge of Holt Heath and within White Sheet Plantation (1-3). The individual fields are elongated and may be enclosed strip fields, they appear to be cut by the boundary bank and field system described in MDO41580 and MDO41584. The site is considered to be of medieval or later date and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
