A possible post medieval extrractive pit at Corfe Mullen is visible on current Lidar imagery (1). The feature comprises a shallow irregular depression 30.5m long by 16.7m wide. It may be a post medieval extractive pit but could alternatively be natural in origin. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
