Full Description
A possible partial ring ditch to the west of New Barn Farm is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (1).
The feature is faint but appears to comprise a semi-circular ditch about 1.25m wide and 31m across at its widest point. Only its east side is visible. The feature may be a Bronze Age barrow; it is possible that it is the same feature as a Bronze Age barrow recorded 70m to the west (MDO6026), but this is not certain.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
