A ring ditch to the northwest of New Barn Farm is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The feature is considered likely to be a Bronze Age barrow and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A ring ditch to the northwest of New Barn Farm is visible as a faint cropmark on aerial photographs (1). The feature is approximately 16.4m in diameter with a 1m wide outer ditch . The feature is considered likely to be a Bronze Age barrow; it is one of a close grouping of six similar features (See MDOs 41669 to 41674) and part of a wider concentration of Bronze Age barrows in the near vicinity. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
