Summary
Linear ditched features to the southeast of New Barn Farm are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The features are considered likely to be associated with a settlement of Iron Age or Romano-British date. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
ST 959012. Probable settlement visible on air photographs. Small, irregular enclosures immediately E of parallel ditches. <1>
Linear ditched features to the southeast of New Barn Farm are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <2-5>.
The features comprise sections of curvilinear ditches, some interlinking to form partial enclosures thought likely to be associated with a settlement of Iron Age or Romano-British date. The features are contiguous with a probable late prehistoric trackway (MDO41687; Hob UID 870284) adjacent to the west.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
