Summary
An extensive system of post medieval or earlier trackways is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1954 running northeast-southwest across Parley Common. The features have partially been levelled by the construction of Ferndown Golf Course and by modern housing development. The north-east end of the site lies under low trees and scrub and some the the trackways may still be extant . They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

The features have partially been levelled by the construction of Ferndown Golf Course and by modern housing development. The north-east end of the site lies under low trees and scrub and some the the trackways may still be extant . They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
