Summary

Two straight linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on rough-ground to the south of Wimborne Road West, Ferndown. The features cut across the trackways and enclosures described in MDO41723 and MDO41714 and are considered to be post medieval (19th century?) field boundaries. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Two straight linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on rough-ground to the south of Wimborne Road West, Ferndown (1-2). The features cut across the trackways and enclosures described in MDO41723 and MDO41714 and are considered to be post medieval (19th century?) field boundaries. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
