Summary
A ditched curvilinear feature to the east of Barford Farm is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The feature may be be part of a historic trackway, although it could alternatively be an earlier feature, perhaps part of a late prehistoric trackway or enclosure. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A ditched curvilinear feature to the east of Barford Farm is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (1).
The feature comprises a section of narrow curvilinear ditch approximately 50m long. There is no clear relationship with any neighbouring historic boundaries but the feature may be be part of a historic trackway of posible medieval to post medieval date. Alternatively it may be an earlier feature, perhaps part of a late prehistoric trackway or enclosure.
The site is still fields under crop on current Google Earth imagery but the feature is no longer visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
