Full Description
A ditched linear feature to the west of Kingston Lacy Home Farm is visible on aerial photographs (1).
The feature is narrow and rectilinear in form and corresponds with adjacent historic field boundaries of similar form, recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (2). The regular form of these boundaries suggests a probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The feature is also presumed to be a historic field boundary of probable post medieval date. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
