Summary
A series of irregular scarped hollows to the south of Kingston Lacy Park are visible on aerial photographs and on current Lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A series of irregular scarped hollows to the south of Kingston Lacy Park are visible on aerial photographs and on current Lidar imagery (1-2).
The features comprise four lozenge-shaped scarped hollows between 32m and 70m long and 26m and 40m wide. They are situated either side of All Fools Lane, three on the south side, one on the north. The features are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits. They were digitally plotted from current Lidar imagery by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
