Summary

Banked linear features at Pamphill Green are visible on aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of possible post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Bankedlinear features at Pamphill Green are visible on aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-2). The features are broad and slightly curvilinear in form and are considered likely to be historic field boundaries, possibly of post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery and the features are still visible.They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
