Full Description
ST 90240562. Langton House, built in 1827-33 to the design of C.R.Cockerell, was demolished in 1949. The porch is now at Langton Farm, (ST 89590585).
The stables with walls of ashlar and slate covered roofs stand some 70 yards north of the house site, at ST 90250562. Built in 1832, they comprise an octagonal courtyard, surrounded by two storeyed ranges. The former coach house, in the west corner, is now a dwelling. The kitchen wing, (ST 90260556), and brew house, (ST 90320551), built around 1830, are two storeyed and have walls of ashlar and slate covered roofs. Outbuildings and stables. <2>
