Summary

A branch of Stuckey's Bank opened in 1900-02. In a prominent position at the corner of Station Road and Newbury/High Street, the bank was built to a design by Bristol architect Sir George Oatley on an L-shaped plan with manager's accommodation at the rear and on the first floor and attic. It is built of Ham Hill Stone and limestone with a tiled roof.
