An 'Old Chalk Pit' is marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the southeast of Westwood Coppice, Toller Porcorum. It is one of a number of extractive hollows which are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
