Full Description
A large group of rounded hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on Norden Hill, Maiden Newton [1]. They are scattered across the prehistoric field system described in MDO681 and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
