A hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Cerne Lane, Cattistock [1]. It is are considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The site has since been levelled [2].
