Summary
An extensive system of parallel ditches is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the west side of the River Frome to the north of Maiden Newton. The features are considered to be drains, possibly part of a system of water meadows. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
