Summary
A double-banked linear feature is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running for over 480m in a roughly easterly direction from Lower Kingcombe. The feature approximately follows the line of a footpath marked on the Ordnanace Survey 1st edition map and is considered to be a medieval or post medieval trackway. It was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project .

Full Description
A double-banked linear feature is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running for over 480m in a roughly easterly direction from Lower Kingcombe [1]. The feature approximately follows the line of a footpath marked on the Ordnanace Survey 1st edition map [2] and is considered to be a medieval or post medieval trackway although an earlier origin is possible. It was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project .
