Summary

An oval mound, 16m by 12m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on a west facing spur to the southeast of Cattistock village. It is considered to be a Neolithic oval barrow or a multivated Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

An oval mound, 16m by 12m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on a west facing spur to the southeast of Cattistock village [1]. It is considered to be a Neolithic oval barrow or a multivated Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The site is no longer visible on most recent Google Earth imagery [2].
