Summary
An incomplete sub-circular ditched enclosure, 24m across, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the east of Greenford Lane, Maiden Newton. The enclosure is considered to be a prehistoric ring ditch, possibly a settlement enclosure, and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

An incomplete sub-circular ditched enclosure, 24m across, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the east of Greenford Lane, Maiden Newton [1]. The enclosure is considered to be a prehistoric ring ditch, possibly a settlement enclosure, and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
