Summary
The fragmentary remains of an Iron Age/RB field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Higher Wynford House, Wynford Eagle. The features cover an area of 20 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description
[Area centred at SY5777 9504] A small field system of field banks and lynchets forming irregular fields of IA/RB type. These are very pronounced in the field to the E of WYNFORD HOUSE. Running from NE-SW on the N.W edge of the system is a terrace way which averages 3.5m wide. The system is under grass, and the southern field is visible on
AP CPE/UK/2431/4147. <1>
