Summary

Perpendicular bank and ditched features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery withih and to the northeast of Wynford Wood. They are considered likely to be post medieval drainage features or medieval features predating or associated with the deer park. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

Perpendicular bank and ditched features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within and to the northeast of Wynford Wood [1]. They are considered likely to be post medieval drainage features or medieval features predating or associated with the deer park (MDO3462]. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
