Summary

Perpendicular banked linear are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on the west facing slopes to the west of Tollerford. They are considered likely to be Iron Age or Roman field boundaries, possibly a continuation of the field system described in MDO42160. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Perpendicular banked linear are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on the west facing slopes to the west of Tollerford [1]. They are considered likely to be Iron Age or Roman field boundaries, possibly a continuation of the field system described in MDO42160. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
