Summary
A skull found in 1921 and other human remains found when tennis courts were laid out in the Borough Gardens at some time between 1901 and 1921. These remains are thought most likely to be Roman inhumation burials and probably part of a larger cemetery along with other Roman burials found in the Borough Gardens and on Albert and Cornwall Roads.
